Real-time mouse switch chatter detection, accidental double-click fault counter, scroll wheel encoder jitter diagnostics, and CPS speed testing.
Test Left, Right, or Middle click. Rapid switch chatter < 80ms will trigger a red warning.
Timer starts on your very first click.
Scrolling downward or upward continuously will check for unexpected encoder jump reversals.
Timer starts on your very first click. Hammer the button for 5 seconds!
Click the box above to benchmark your finger speed against competitive gamers.
Mechanical gaming and office mice use physical microswitches (such as Omron, Kailh, or Huano switches). Over time, microscopic contact oxidation and metallic leaf spring fatigue cause the switch contacts to physically vibrate upon release. This electrical bounce registers as two or three clicks in under 50 millisecondsโcausing you to accidentally drag-and-drop desktop icons, close browser tabs twice, or misfire in competitive games.
Most mouse scroll wheels rely on a rotary mechanical encoder. Over months of use, skin oils, dust, and lint enter the encoder wheel. When you scroll downward, the optical or mechanical sensor misses teeth, causing the page to abruptly "jump" upward. Our Scroll Wheel Jitter tool measures the millisecond delta between opposite-direction scroll events to confirm if your encoder is dirty or failing.
